I wanted this ---- Crayon


I wanted this, I wanted that,
I dreamt of this, I dreamt of that,
I hoped of achieving this and that,
But didn't know how to get them all.

I needed this, I needed that,
I worked hard because I needed them,

I drove myself to achieve them,
And lo behold, I soon got them.

And then I looked back, one rainy day,
And wondered about my unattained wants,
And tried to discover my failures's reasons,
Only to realize life's biggest truth:-

"I wanted them but did not need them."
